The need for endocrine drugs after mastectomy for breast cancer is based on the patient’s hormone receptors. If the patient’s hormone receptor test is positive, he/she needs to take endocrine drugs. Hormone receptor mainly refers to estrogen receptor and progesterone receptor, if both of them are positive, patients need to consider applying endocrine drugs to continue treatment after mastectomy. Patients taking endocrine drugs need to take into account their menstrual status, and it is recommended to consult a doctor first. There are many commonly used endocrine drugs, such as tamoxifen, letrozole, exemestane and anastrozole.
