The importance of increased texture in both lungs is related to the patient’s condition, which can be caused by physiologic reasons or by certain diseases, such as bronchial disease, pulmonary vascular disease, interstitial lung disease, etc. The severity of increased texture in both lungs depends on the patient’s condition. The severity of the disease needs to be assessed in the context of the specific disease. 1. Physiological increase in lung texture: Normal young people with strong metabolism, increased oxygen demand after strenuous exercise, long-term smokers, etc. can appear in the phenomenon of increased lung texture, but there is no certain clinical significance, and does not require special treatment. 2. Bronchial diseases: various acute and chronic bronchial diseases cause bilateral bronchial edema, dilatation or fibrosis can also be manifested as bilateral lung texture weight, such as acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchial dilatation, bronchial asthma, etc. Most of the bronchial diseases can be treated by endocrine therapy. Most bronchial diseases can be well controlled by medical treatment and are usually relatively mild. 3. Pulmonary vascular disease: for example, pulmonary stasis caused by left heart failure, pulmonary congestion caused by congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, etc. Increased lung texture caused by pulmonary vascular disease is usually more serious and treatment is relatively complicated. 4. Interstitial lung disease: various interstitial lung diseases can cause fibrosis and inflammatory thickening of the pulmonary bronchial vascular bundles, which is manifested as increased lung texture on chest radiographs. Most interstitial lung diseases are irreversible and the progression of fibrosis can only be slowed by a series of treatments. Some patients with severe pulmonary fibrosis require lung transplantation for effective treatment. Increased lung texture does not have a clear clinical significance, and increased lung texture without corresponding symptoms does not have much clinical value, and further examination is needed to clarify the cause. Further investigation is needed to determine the cause. Patients are advised to consult their doctor for the exact severity of the disease.
