Generally H. pylori is not found in every older person. Under normal circumstances, H. pylori is undetectable and can only be detected when the body is infected with H. pylori. H. pylori is caused by acquired infection, and the infection pathway is closely related to life and work, mainly through fecal-oral, shared utensils, food hygiene is not in place to spread. H. pylori is mainly distributed in the gastric mucosa, which may cause gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, gastric cancer and other diseases. Once H. pylori infection is identified, it is recommended to use medication under doctor’s guidance, i.e., one proton pump inhibitor, one bismuth agent, and two antibiotics, such as omeprazole, bismuth potassium citrate, amoxicillin, and clarithromycin, and to have regular review after treatment to avoid aggravation of the condition.
