The biceps brachii muscle is located in the anterior superficial layer of the upper arm and is rhombic in shape, with two heads, long and short. The long head starts from the suprascapular tuberosity and the short head starts from the rostral process of the scapula, and the two heads converge in the middle of the humerus to form the belly of the muscle, descending to the lower end of the humerus and ending at the radial tuberosity and forearm fascia. The function of the biceps: the contracted position makes the shoulder joint flexion, elbow joint flexion and external rotation; the straightened position makes the upper arm lean forward and the forearm droop. When we exercise, we often do the body up and dumbbell movements, mainly exercise the biceps. The long head tendon of the biceps is prone to injury and rupture, and treatment can be divided into surgical and non-surgical therapies. Therefore, we should avoid using violence or overexertion to bring physical injury when exercising, which will affect our normal life and work.
