What’s wrong with a bedridden paralyzed patient’s wheezing and huffing?

Wheezing and huffing in bedridden paralyzed patients may be related to the increase of blood in the heart, or it may be caused by infection in the lungs and pulmonary embolism. 1. Increased blood in the heart: long-term bedridden paralyzed patients, blood stagnation in the heart, which in turn can lead to bruising in the lungs, may appear shortness of breath, may also be accompanied by shortness of breath, chest tightness and other symptoms. 2. Intrapulmonary infection: bedridden paralyzed patients have poor self-cleaning ability of trachea and more respiratory secretions.
