What’s wrong with my right shoulder and scapula?

Right shoulder with scapula pain may be physiological factors, but also may be the manifestation symptoms of certain diseases, such as cervical spondylosis, lung tissue disease, pleurisy, gallbladder disease, etc., and should be promptly consulted to find out the cause of the disease. 1. Physiological factors: If the sleeping position is incorrect, the wrong sleeping position leads to severe stress on the right shoulder at night, which leads to scapula pain. 2. Pathological factors (1) Cervical spondylosis: if the pain in the right shoulder blade lasts for a long time and is not significantly relieved after rest, cervical spondylosis may occur. (2) Lung tissue disease, especially malignant tumor of lung, when cancer cells metastasize, the common metastatic site is shoulder bone, so many lung tumor patients are prone to scapula pain. (3) Pleurisy: it is a disease that occurs in the pleural cavity. Pleura is a layer of plasma membrane covering the inner surface of chest wall and the surface of thoracic cavity organs, and inflammation can occur when it is infected by bacteria and viruses. If pleurisy occurs in the position leaning on the right side, the pain can be radiated to the right shoulder and scapula. (4) Gallbladder diseases: such as gallbladder stones, gallbladder polyps, cholecystitis, etc., the gallbladder is located in the right side of the epigastric region, and if there is a lesion, it will lead to pain in the right epigastric region of the patient, and the pain will radiate to the right shoulder and shoulder blade, and it can also manifest as the symptom of pain in the right shoulder and shoulder blade. There may also be diseases such as frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injury or tumor around the right shoulder joint, but this symptom alone is not enough to diagnose the disease. It is recommended that if physiological causes are ruled out, you should seek prompt medical attention from your doctor to clarify the cause of the condition and undergo appropriate tests if necessary.
