What are the indicators for H. pylori testing

H. pylori detection index, mainly by carbon 13 or carbon 14 urea breath test. Due to the differences in the standard values of the test in various hospitals in different regions, according to the results of the test, if the test result is positive, with indications for H. pylori eradication, without eradication resistance factors, H. pylori eradication treatment needs to be given. If there is epigastric pain, bloating and poor abdomen, or perfect gastroscopy suggesting gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer or gastric erosion, anti-H. pylori medication needs to be given. Anti-H. pylori is recommended to give 2 weeks of eradication treatment, and now the quadruple therapy containing bismuth + a PPI + 2 antibiotics is recommended, and the carbon 13 or carbon 14 urea breath test is repeated after 1 month of discontinuation at the end of medication to judge whether eradication is achieved.
