Xiangsha Liujun Wan is mainly used to treat spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome. Symptoms of acid reflux and heartburn are generally due to disharmony between the liver and the stomach (disharmony between the ascending liver and descending gastric organs), and therefore, Xiangsha Liujun Wan is generally not used to treat acid reflux and heartburn. Xiangsha Liujun Pill is a commonly used Chinese medicine in clinical practice, which is composed of Codonopsis, Atractylodes Macrocephalae, Poria, Chen Pi, Semixia, Mucuna pruriens, Saxifrage, Sizzling Licorice, Ginger, and Jujubes. It has the efficacy of benefiting qi and strengthening the spleen (regulating the qi of the spleen and the stomach) and harmonizing the stomach, and it is used in the treatment of conditions such as deficiency of qi and stagnation of the spleen, dyspepsia, belching (hiccups), low food intake, epigastric (abdominal) distension, and loose bowel movements. Pregnant women should not take this product, the adverse effects of this product are not clear. Discomfort should seek medical advice in a timely manner, under the guidance of the physician’s diagnosis and selection of medication, not self-medication, so as not to delay the condition.
