Oriental Ginseng Efficacy and Effects

Oriental ginseng has the efficacy of dispersing wind-heat and subduing swellings and toxins. During the Qing Dynasty, Oriental ginseng referred to the Japanese ginseng called Oriental ginseng. Nowadays, the ginseng refers to burdock root, which is cold in nature and bitter in taste, and has the effect of clearing heat and detoxification (removing heat and poison from the body), dispersing wind and relieving pharynx, and is often used for wind-heat colds, coughs, sore throats, sores and boils, ringworm of the feet, and eczema. Modern pharmacological research found that burdock has diuretic effect; hemolytic staphylococcus aureus has an inhibitory effect. Oriental ginseng is not recommended to be taken for a long time because of its bitter and cold nature. It is recommended to use medication under the guidance of a doctor to avoid delaying the condition or damaging the body.
