Is it better to have a negative lung ct value that is a large or small number

“Lung ct value is negative number is big good or small good” this statement is not reasonable, clinical can not rely on the size of the lung CT value to evaluate the condition of good or bad.
Lung CT value can suggest the density of lung tissue, but can not be used to determine the benign or malignant lung nodules. Usually, the more negative the CT examination of lung nodules, the more dilute the density of lung nodules can be indicated. However, if the type of lung nodule is a ground-glass nodule with irregular, burred edges, the possibility of a malignant nodule needs to be considered despite a large negative CT value.
The pathologic nature of a pulmonary nodule is usually determined by a puncture biopsy of the pulmonary nodule, and the size of the lung CT value should not be relied upon alone to evaluate the condition.
The value of lung CT is between plus 1000 HU and minus 1000 HU. In case of soft tissue, the CT value can be between 70 and 90 HU; in case of fluid in the lungs, the CT value can be 0 HU; in case of calcification of lung tissues, the value can be up to plus 1000 HU, and in case of gases, such as large pulmonary blisters and gases in the thoracic cavity, the CT value can be up to minus 1000 HU.
Patients whose lung CT results show negative values should consult a specialist in time, and if necessary, further examination is feasible to clarify the condition.
