Salivary gland cysts heal themselves

Generally, salivary gland cysts are very difficult to heal on their own and require surgical treatment, laser treatment, cryotherapy, and other treatments under a doctor’s supervision.
Salivary gland cysts often include sublingual gland cysts and mucous gland cysts, etc. The cysts are formed due to the damage and rupture of the glands or ducts, which allows mucus to enter the tissue. Surgery is the preferred treatment for sublingual gland cysts. In addition to surgery, laser therapy, cryotherapy, and microwave thermal coagulation can also be used to treat the disease.
Sublingual gland cysts cannot be cured on their own; the disease can be cured after standardized treatment, but since the disease may recur, patients are advised to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and good lifestyle habits, as well as to observe their oral cavity on a regular basis.
