It is normal for a woman to have milky fluid inside her vagina. Milky fluid refers to leukorrhea, which is milky white or colorless and clear, odorless or slightly fishy. The production of normal leucorrhea in women is mainly related to estrogen and is made from a mixture of vaginal mucosal exudate, cervical canal and endometrial glandular secretions. The leucorrhea will change in different menstrual cycles. The leucorrhea during ovulation and premenstruation will be more, but without odor or other discomfort. If the leucorrhea increases, turns yellow, is curd-like or thin, and is accompanied by vulvar itching and other symptoms, consider the inflammation of the reproductive tract.
