Stomach cancer is one of the common malignant tumors, and China is a region with a high incidence of stomach cancer, and poor lifestyle is the main reason for stomach cancer. Stage I: It should be removed by surgery in time and followed up regularly after surgery, and the 5-year survival rate is about 85%, which means most patients with stage I gastric cancer can live beyond 5 years. Stage II: Stage II, all need surgery, post-operative adjuvant chemotherapy and appropriate Chinese medicine treatment, the 5-year survival rate is about 56%, that is to say: about half of the patients with stage II gastric cancer can live beyond 5 years. Stage III: How to operate? Do we need preoperative chemotherapy? How to provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment after surgery? To solve these 3 problems, joint medical-surgical consultation is required, and the patient’s physical condition should be evaluated well. With proper treatment of stage III gastric cancer patients, about 1/4 of them can live beyond 5 years. Stage IV: This stage of gastric cancer is truly “advanced gastric cancer”, and surgery is not an option, unless emergency treatment or obstruction resolution is needed, Chinese medicine supportive treatment, supplemented by appropriate radiotherapy, is the main treatment option, and the goal is to improve the quality of life. The 5-year survival rate for stage IV patients is about 5%.
