The peak age of gastric cancer is usually between 50 and 80 years old, and in China, the mortality rate of gastric cancer ranks the first among malignant tumors, which is more likely to occur above 50 years old, with a male to female ratio of 2:1. Its high mortality rate has a lot to do with the unknown early symptoms, and some patients mistake symptoms such as stomach pain, loss of appetite and nausea for gastritis or other stomach diseases, so they endure them and do not seek medical treatment, and as a result, their conditions are already at an advanced stage when they are discovered. Most of the patients with gastric cancer have no obvious signs and some of them have mild pressure pain in the upper abdomen. The lumps are often nodular and hard in nature. When the tumor infiltrates into adjacent organs or tissues, the mass is often fixed and cannot be pushed, suggesting that surgical resection is less likely. In fact, most patients will still experience some abnormal sensations, mainly some symptoms similar to digestive system diseases, similar to gastritis. The common precursors of stomach cancer are biting pain, accompanied by belching, acidity, nausea and vomiting; most patients will have a feeling of fullness in the upper abdomen. So, what are the early symptoms of gastric cancer? 1.Supra-abdominal fullness and discomfort, hidden pain or change of pain pattern. 2.Panic acid, belching, loss of appetite, nausea, burning in the stomach and epigastric region, diarrhea and black stool. 3.Unexplained weight loss and significant wasting. 4.A person over 50 years old with no history of stomach pain or gastric disease in the past who develops stomach symptoms for a short period of time. Those who have recovered well from a major gastrectomy for benign gastric disease many years ago and have recently developed dyspepsia, epigastric pain, nausea, vomiting, black stools, and markedly reduced health status. Although these symptoms do not mean that the patient is suffering from stomach cancer, if the above symptoms do not subside, the patient should go to the hospital for detailed examination. Did you know? Overeating, enjoying dry, hard and hot food. Six major dietary nausea such as frequent consumption of unfresh food can trigger stomach cancer. 1.Binge eating, like to eat dry, hard and hot food. Bad eating habits such as eating fast, irregular meals and eating when angry can be the trigger of stomach cancer. 2.Eating unfresh food often. Moldy food and grain, unfresh or even rotten vegetables, preservatives in cans and beverages and unclean drinking water all contain strong carcinogenic nitrosamines. 3.Pickled food and smoked food. Two types of substances, nitroso compounds and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, can be formed in pickled foods and smoked foods, the latter of which can directly cause cancer. 4. Excessive intake of high-salt diet. Salt itself is not carcinogenic, but high salt intake can damage the gastric mucous membrane barrier, increase susceptibility to carcinogenic substances, and enhance the risk of stomach cancer. 5. Low-protein diet. Low-protein diet means no animal food and legumes, no milk, only fruits and vegetables, and carbohydrates as the main source of daily caloric energy. 6.Low consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables.
