10 Ways to Lower Your Cholesterol

There is no such thing as “10 ways to lower cholesterol”. People who need to lower cholesterol are hypercholesterolemic, and the treatment methods include dietary management, physical exercise and medication.
1. Dietary management: Limit the intake of cholesterol and avoid foods rich in cholesterol such as animal offal, fried foods, fatty meats and cream.
2. Physical exercise: It is recommended to have 5-7 days of physical exercise per week, such as jogging, swimming, cycling, hiking, practicing yoga, etc., to maintain the body weight within a reasonable range.
3. Medication: Lipid-lowering drugs such as atorvastatin and lovastatin can be taken for treatment (prohibited for pregnant and lactating women), and cholesterol absorption inhibitors such as ezetimibe can also be used for treatment.
Patients suffering from hypercholesterolemia should actively cooperate with doctors for treatment.
