The yellow earth in the center of the stove warms the spleen yang, restores spleen movement, and stops bleeding; the rhubarb of the earth and the Colla Corii Asini have the effect of tonifying the blood and stopping bleeding. Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae and Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae are used to benefit qi and strengthen the spleen, Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni Multiflori warms yang qi and restores the right of yang qi to regulate the spleen, and Scutellaria Baicalensis is used to clear the liver and stop bleeding.
