Almost everyone has had back pain, but not many people really take it seriously. In fact, low back pain may affect the whole body health, it is necessary to treat the symptoms. The causes of back pain can be divided into four main categories. First, the spine bone joint and its surrounding soft tissue lesions. This includes inflammation of the soft tissues, degenerative changes in the bones and joints, aging, and osteophytes. Second, pain caused by spinal nerves. The most common is lumbar disc herniation, for example, when the herniated disc compresses the sciatic nerve, the back pain may go along the back of the thigh, the outer side of the calf all the way to the tip of the toes. Third, pain caused by internal organ disorders. Such as nephritis, kidney stones, cholecystitis, uterine fibroids and so on. This kind of lumbar pain is mainly manifested as soreness and swelling, falling, lumbar muscle weakness, etc., sleeping and rolling over may even wake up with pain. Fourth, anxiety, suspicion and other mental psychological factors, may also lead to the subjective feeling of back pain. Nowadays, not only older people, many young adults aged 20 to 40 years old also suffer from frequent low back pain. Some bad postures and lifestyles are very important triggers. Sedentary: Sitting still for a long time, sitting crookedly, bowing forward and backward, can lead to lumbar muscle strain, spinal curvature and other problems. The correct sitting posture is, waist and back straight and thighs into a 90-degree angle, sitting in the middle of the chair. Squatting: Squatting too hard or squatting improperly, also easy to strain the waist. It is best to use the “high and low style”, the right foot in front, the left foot in the back, the two legs close to the downward squatting, the right foot on the ground, the calf perpendicular to the ground, the left heel lifted, the palm of the foot on the ground. Containing the chest station: Containing the chest and neck, shoulders drooping, it is easy to compress the spine and peripheral nerves, time will also lead to cervical and lumbar spine osteophytes, disc degeneration and so on. Therefore, when standing, the waist should be kept straight, and the pelvis is slightly tilted forward. Single-handed hand objects: a hand to carry heavy objects, easy to make one side of the lumbar muscle damage, should be apportioned between the two hands heavy force, so that the lumbar vertebrae uniform force. Bending down to carry heavy objects: bending down when moving things, a brain to carry things up, it is easy to make the lumbar strain, and even induced disc herniation. It is best to lift weights as if you were half squatting first, slowly lifting the heavy object to the waist position, and then put it on the shoulder.
