There are several treatment methods for adenomatous polyps as follows: 1, endoscopic treatment: for those below 5mm, endoscopic forceps removal, including biopsy forceps removal and hot biopsy forceps removal; 2, trap resection: for those above 5mm and with a tip, resection by trap; 3, submucosal resection: for those without a tip, with a wide base and below 2mm, injection of epinephrine saline through the base of the adenoma, resection by trap and then closure of the wound with titanium clips to reduce complications; 4, endoscopic mucosal dissection (ESD): for those above 2cm and without clear cancerous lesions.
