Can colon polyps be removed directly by colonoscopy?

Patients with intestinal polyps found during colonoscopy can undergo electrocoagulation and electrosurgery directly, but only if the patient needs to complete preoperative tests, especially coagulation, transfusion four, and electrocardiogram. If the above three tests do not show any abnormalities and the patient has signed the consent form for the surgical treatment, endoscopic electrocoagulation and electrodesis of polyps can be performed directly. This refers to disseminated polyps, such as one or several polyps. If the patient has multiple polyps, like familial polyposis or polyps of larger size and broad-based polyps, direct surgical treatment in the outpatient setting is more risky. Because of the possibility of post-operative bleeding, it is advisable to be hospitalized first and then to perform surgical treatment as appropriate for safety reasons.
