To treat uterine cold, you can moxibustion Guanyuan, Kidney Yu, Jiusao and Sanyinjiao.
1. Guanyuan is an acupoint of the Ren vein, located in the lower abdomen, 3 inches below the umbilicus. This acupoint has the effect of tonifying the kidney and cultivating the kidney, warming the yang and fixing the hair, and it can treat gynecological diseases such as metrorrhagia (excessive menstrual flow or spotting), menstrual disorders and malignant dew not being able to stay in the womb.
2. Kidney Yu is an acupoint of the bladder meridian, which is located under the spinous process of the second lumbar vertebra, 1.5 inches away from the posterior midline. This point, together with Guanyuan, can benefit the Kidney and regulate Chongren.
3. Located in the sacral region, horizontal to the second posterior sacral foramen, this point has the function of regulating menstruation and stopping leucorrhoea (regulating menstruation and reducing abnormally increased leucorrhoea), tonifying the Kidneys and strengthening the yang, and can be used for treating gynecological conditions such as menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, and subluxation of the leucorrhoea.
4. Sanyinjiao is an acupoint of the spleen meridian, located 3 inches above the tip of the inner ankle, at the posterior margin of the medial edge of the tibia. This point can tonify the liver and kidney, strengthen the spleen and dissolve dampness, and can be used to treat gynecological conditions such as irregular menstruation and dysmenorrhea.
