Poria Lotus Leaf Tea has the effect of clearing heat and inducing dampness, but the effect of herbal infusion is limited, and it is recommended to use the medicine under the guidance of a doctor.
Poria and lotus leaves in Poria tea are Chinese herbs. Among them, Poria has the effect of reducing edema by favoring water, seeping dampness, strengthening the spleen, and tranquilizing the heart, and is mainly used to treat edema, phlegm (a pathological product formed by impaired metabolism of water and liquid), diarrhea due to deficiency of the spleen, palpitation, insomnia and other illnesses. Yin deficiency without dampness and heat, cold and slippery semen, qi deficiency and subsidence should be taken with caution.
Lotus leaf, on the other hand, has the efficacy of clearing summer heat and removing dampness, elevating Qing-Yang (conveying nutrients from digested food to the head and face and other parts of the body), cooling the blood and stopping bleeding, and is mainly used in the treatment of summer-heat and thirst, summer-dampness and diarrhea, diarrhea due to deficiency of the spleen, blood-heat and epistaxis (due to blood-heat that causes vomiting of blood and bleeding from the nose), and blood-bleeding and leakage of the bowels (excessively heavy menstrual flow or more than a few drops of blood). It should not be used wherever there is an abundance of evil in the upper burner and the treatment should be clear and subdue.
