Surgical approach to supraspinatus tendon rupture

For supraspinatus tendon rupture surgery, patients with supraspinatus tendon rupture that affects the patient’s normal shoulder lifting function will require aggressive surgical treatment. The surgical treatment usually requires minimally invasive surgery, using shoulder arthroscopy to repair and reconstruct the supraspinatus tendon. After surgery, the patient usually needs to have the incision changed and disinfected, and it is very important to have the incision changed once every two or three days to prevent infection. After surgery, the affected limb should be strictly protected by suspension, usually until one and a half months, and then the patient should be able to perform functional exercises to restore the normal shoulder mobility.
