How to tell if the eggs are of good quality

Whether the eggs are of good quality or not can be judged by ultrasound observation of the follicular development process and estrogen measurement.

1. Observation of follicular development process: Ultrasound can be used to observe whether the growth rate of the dominant follicle is up to standard, whether the follicle is round or oval in shape, whether the egg tension is good, and whether the follicle wall is thick or thin.

In the early stages, patients can have an ultrasound every other day because the follicles are relatively small in development. When the follicle grows to 1.6 centimeters or more, it can be monitored daily until the follicle grows to about 1.9 centimeters. At this point, the egg can reach a mature follicle.

2. Estrogen measurement: The hormone produced by mature follicles is mainly estrogen. Normally, mature follicles should produce 300 picomoles of estrogen per milliliter. Anything below 200 picomoles per milliliter indicates poor egg quality.

To determine whether the quality of eggs is good or not, you should go to the hospital under the guidance of a professional doctor, and should not choose on your own.
