How long does it take for cervical cancer to progress to an advanced stage

The speed at which cervical cancer develops into advanced stage varies from person to person, some may have shorter time, some will not even reach the advanced stage. How long the cervical cancer will eventually develop into advanced stage is related to the stage of cervical cancer and the physical fitness of individuals.
If the cervical cancer is very poorly differentiated, it may develop into advanced cervical cancer in a relatively short period of time. Some people do not pay attention to the symptoms of early cervical cancer, and they just find out that it is advanced.
Due to factors such as the influence of individual physical quality, whether the discovery is timely or not, and whether the treatment effect is good or not, cervical cancer generally may take only three to six months to develop from early stage to late stage; if the patient is found late, in poor physical condition, and if the treatment is not timely, the cancer may reach the late stage in less than three months.
On the contrary, it may develop slower, and clinical cure can be achieved by radical surgery at early stage. Patients who do not have the chance to have surgery or cannot tolerate surgery may also be clinically cured through radical radiotherapy without progressing to the advanced stage.
Regular checkups for cervical cancer should be carried out in daily life, and when problems are detected, timely consultation should be made and relevant treatments should be carried out according to the doctor’s advice.
