What are the benefits of the four elements of a healthy diet?

  Human food is diverse, and there is no good or bad food. The key lies in the reasonable combination of food types and quantities, and only with a reasonable combination of food can the human body obtain the required nutrients. There are two major categories of nutrients needed by the human body: macronutrients and micronutrients. Vitamins are naturally present in food and can hardly be synthesized by the body, although the need is minimal, but they play an important role in the metabolism and development of the body. It is an essential nutrient to prevent a variety of nutritional deficiency diseases and is mainly found in vegetables and fruits. Minerals are an important component of the human body, accounting for 4% of the body weight. It is also an indispensable nutrient for maintaining normal physiological functions of the body.  Dietary fiber has the effect of preventing constipation and promoting intestinal health, and is important for preventing high blood lipids and high blood sugar, mainly from plant foods, such as in cereals and vegetables. Drinking water can help the digestion and absorption of food, and the metabolic “waste” out of the body, but also to regulate body temperature, maintain the balance of body fluids, so it is necessary to adhere to drinking plain water every day.
