34 years old, high pressure 140, low pressure 88. Is that normal?

A 34 year old with a high pressure of 140mmHg and a low pressure of 88mmHg is not normal, and may be caused by improper lifestyle habits or may indeed have primary hypertension.
Generally speaking, 34-year-old normal people’s high pressure between 90mmHg ~ 139mmHg, while the low pressure in the 60mmHg ~ 89mmHg range. If the high pressure is 140mmHg and the low pressure is 88mmHg, it means that the blood pressure is in a critical state and is not normal.
If the high blood pressure is caused by irregular work and rest, or intense exercise, it can usually be gradually recovered after adjusting work and rest, so there is no need to worry too much. If it is primary hypertension, then you should actively improve your lifestyle, strengthen blood pressure monitoring, and if necessary, give antihypertensive drugs such as nifedipine extended-release tablets, fosinopril, furosemide, and other treatments.
In order to avoid pre-diagnosis, it is recommended to measure blood pressure 3 times on different days in a month. After diagnosis, one should seek medical treatment as early as possible and follow the doctor’s instructions to avoid further progression of the disease.
