The sequelae of stroke cannot be cured. Sequelae are signs and symptoms of neurological deficits that remain one year after the onset of the disease, and most treatments are ineffective, but muscle atrophy and muscle contractures can be prevented through rehabilitation and acupuncture. Stroke includes hemorrhagic stroke and ischemic stroke. Hemorrhagic stroke is also known as cerebral hemorrhage, and ischemic stroke is known as cerebral infarction. Most of the strokes have an acute onset, and may present with different symptoms and signs, depending on the blood vessels involved and the size of the lesion. For small cerebral infarction or small amount of cerebral hemorrhage, most of them can be cured clinically if they can be treated timely and correctly in the early stage. For patients with large cerebral infarction and massive cerebral hemorrhage, hemiparesis, hemianopsia, hemianopsia, and impaired consciousness can occur, and most of them may have sequelae. It may cause brain herniation due to increased intracranial pressure, leading to death, or the patient may die due to aspiration pneumonia, or aspiration by mistake.
