What does a white ball ratio of 1.3 mean

A white globulin ratio of 1.3 means that it is slightly below the normal reference range and is generally not clinically significant. Albumin is the main protein component in normal human serum and is mainly synthesized by the liver, while globulin consists of a mixture of immunoglobulins, complement, glycoproteins and lipoproteins. The white globule ratio is often used to reflect the synthesis function of the liver. Normal adult serum albumin is 40~55g/L, globulin is 20~30g/L, and the white globule ratio is 1.5~2.5, while the white globule ratio of 1.3 is only slightly lower than the normal reference value range, which is generally of no clinical significance. When the white globule ratio is severely low with inversion, i.e., when the ratio is <1, the cause should be clarified under the guidance of a doctor for active treatment.
