A hard bag under the calf may be caused by folliculitis, dermatofibroma or lipoma.
1. Folliculitis: If a hard bag grows under the calf and protrudes from the surface of the skin, accompanied by redness, swelling and pain, or the formation of pus, it is considered to be caused by folliculitis.
2. Dermatofibroma: usually caused by repeated scratching after mosquito bites, which stimulates the proliferation of local fibrous tissue and can be surgically removed.
3. Lipoma: if the patient’s systemic lipid metabolism is abnormal, it will induce lipoma, which can also be manifested as a hard bag growing under the calf.
If the patient has a hard bag under the calf, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time to clarify the cause of the disease, make further diagnosis, and get treatment in time.
