Due to different stages, the recurrence rate of 6mm mixed ground-glass invasive lung adenocarcinoma is different, with early stage patients being lower, usually less than 5%, and advanced stage patients being higher, about 30%. Early stage patients with 6mm mixed ground glass invasive lung adenocarcinoma are generally preferred to radical lung cancer surgery, after which most patients can be clinically cured, with a five-year survival rate of more than 90%, so the disease is not prone to recurrence. On the other hand, the proportion of patients who can be cured is low in the advanced stage of 6mm mixed ground-glass lung adenocarcinoma. Moreover, since the disease has already spread before treatment, invasive lung adenocarcinoma is prone to recurrence after treatment, which results in poor prognosis and shortened survival period of the patients overall.
