Neuropathies are classified as demyelinating, infectious, and autoimmune. Some mild forms of demyelinating neuritis may return to near normal levels without treatment. In patients with a previous diagnosis of MS, relapses may be treated with glucocorticoid shock therapy or with immunosuppressants, gammaglobulin, etc.
