There is no specific time limit for follicle monitoring, as each woman’s follicles grow and develop, and grow at different rates. Generally, follicle monitoring is done from the first day of menstruation, with initial follicle monitoring on the 11th day, followed by another day of monitoring at intervals until the follicles are around 1.6cm, and then daily monitoring. Until the dominant follicle and mature follicles are above 1.8cmx1.8cm, intercourse is possible. After intercourse, you will also need to monitor again at 12 or 24 hour intervals to see if the follicle has ruptured. If it ruptures, it will greatly increase the chances of conception and will be monitored a total of 5-6 times throughout the cycle. If the development is delayed, there may be 7-8 times, depending on the individual situation.
