Can non-tuberculous mycobacterial lung disease be cured?

Non-tuberculous mycobacterial pneumopathy can be cured. Non-tuberculous mycobacterial pneumopathy is mainly an inflammatory reaction in the lungs caused by infection with Mycobacterium tuberculosis of the human and bovine types and Mycobacterium leprae other than Mycobacterium leprae. There are still pathological changes similar to tuberculosis, such as hyperplasia, sclerosis, and exudation of lung tissue. In clinical practice, early detection and early standardized treatment, such as the combination of clarithromycin, azithromycin, isoniazid, rifampin, ethambutol and other drugs can be used in a standardized way, which is completely curable. The course of treatment is relatively less long than that of tuberculosis itself.
