How to cough up phlegm in baby’s throat

Babies with phlegm that cannot be coughed up and swallowed have to be analyzed for specific reasons, and there are generally two cases: one is that there are indeed secretions due to inflammation of the respiratory tract, causing phlegm not to be coughed up easily. You can use a simple suction ball type of equipment to suck the phlegm out of the mouth, or you can stimulate the mouth or the root of the tongue to cause nausea, dry vomiting action, or even vomit and spit out together with the gastric juice. In another case, it is important to determine if the laryngeal wheezing symptom is caused by hypoplastic laryngeal cartilage in babies, i.e. excessive softening, which feels like a phlegm sound, but in fact there is no real secretion. In this case, we should consider whether the child has a calcium deficiency, malnutrition and micronutrient deficiency. We should go to the hospital for a micronutrient test and let the pediatrician help assess the situation, and then consider supplementing with vitamins A and D and calcium supplements, and also get more sunlight.
