When to do abdominal CT

Generally, like in the case of doubtful ultrasound findings, there is no way to determine what the lesion is, for example, if the ultrasound finds abnormal echogenicity in the liver, as hypoechoic or hyperechoic, sometimes the nature of the pathology cannot be determined and the patient is advised to have another CT scan of the abdomen. Abdominal CT can see the size and shape of the abdominal organs, and also many lesions of the related organs, including tumors, stones, inflammation, some acute abdominal diseases, etc. For example, some people feel abdominal pain, there are many causes of abdominal pain, the abdominal CT will have more information, and the pictures can be saved permanently and can be taken to other places for consultation. With pancreatitis, you need a CT, which can obviously see it. Gallbladder stones, appendicitis, liver abscesses, cysts, liver cancer, and tumors of the spleen all require a CT scan.
