Male Ligation Procedure

The procedure of male ligation surgery includes preoperative anesthesia, skin surface incision, cutting the vas deferens, suturing the severed end, incision suture, cleaning the wound and dressing the wound. 1. Pre-operative anesthesia: male patients adopt supine position and lie flat on the operation bed, the surgeon will carry out local disinfection and anesthesia, injecting anesthetics subcutaneously through the testicles, and sacral anesthesia or general anesthesia can be chosen according to the situation. 2. Skin surface incision: after the anesthesia takes effect, the surgeon fixes the vas deferens at the root of the scrotum with his left hand and makes an incision on the skin surface of the scrotum with his right hand. 3. Cutting the vas deferens: the surgeon uses surgical forceps to pull the vas deferens out of the incision and cut the vas deferens. 4. Suture the severed ends: the surgeon uses absorbable surgical sutures to suture the two severed ends of the vas deferens separately. 5. Incision suture: suture the scrotal skin surface incision. 6. Cleaning up the wound and bandaging the wound: clean up the wound and cover the surface of the incision with clean medical gauze, fix the gauze with medical tape, and end the surgery. The male ligation surgery process is relatively simple, less traumatic, faster recovery and better contraceptive effect.
