Uterine prolapse is when the uterus prolapses into or out of the vagina. A uterine length of 2.5cm cannot tell if it is a uterine prolapse. Uterine prolapse, also known as uterine hypoplasia, refers to the descent of the uterus from its normal position, with the cervix lowering below the level of the sciatic spine, or even completely prolapsing out of the vagina. In China, it is generally categorized into 3 degrees, of which II and III degrees have the prolapse of the vaginal opening, which can be observed with the naked eye; I degree is mild, and it is recommended to go to the hospital for checkups, so the length of the uterus alone cannot determine whether it is prolapsed or not. If you have a feeling of falling in the abdomen, which is obvious when squatting, then it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination. Ⅰ degree can be repaired through exercise, while Ⅱ, Ⅲ degree is recommended to be treated by surgery or uterine support, and the specifics can be consulted with the professional physician’s opinion.
