Enteritis Ning and tonifying spleen and intestines pill can be used for the treatment of diarrhea, but enteritis Ning clearing heat and dampness (to remove the body’s heat and dampness), moving qi, mainly used for intestinal dampness and heat caused by diarrhea, and tonifying the spleen and intestines pill has the efficacy of warming yang, astringent intestines and stopping diarrhea (through the enhancement of intestinal astringency to alleviate the diarrhea), mainly used for diarrhea caused by the deficiency of the spleen and stagnant qi.
The former main “benefit”, and the latter main “astringent”, the mechanism of its action is opposite, if taken together with their respective efficacy may not be able to play better.
Enteritis Ning is contraindicated in pregnant women, the adverse effects are not clear, during the period of time, pay attention to a light diet, avoid smoking, alcohol and spicy, cold, greasy food, should not be taken at the same time with tonic Chinese medicine. Supplementing the spleen and intestines pill is contraindicated in pregnant women, diarrhea, abdominal heat and pain, adverse reactions are not clear, avoid eating cold, spicy and greasy things during the drug, cold and fever with caution.
