If a 10-week-old girl’s breast development is early sexual development, the normal age of breast development for girls should be 11 weeks old, and the appearance of long breasts indicates puberty. 10-week-old girls enter puberty early and undergo breast development. If the child’s skeletal age is determined to be low, the child’s height and sexual development will be affected. If the child’s height is consistent with the height of the bone age, the child can be observed. If the child’s height differs by more than one year from his or her bone age height and is at a level of short stature, intervention is needed to further examine the height. If the child’s height is affected and the child’s breast development as well as the development of the uterus and ovaries currently require control of sex hormone levels, medication should be actively administered to control them to prevent the child from becoming too short for life as an adult.
