Down’s screening is a pregnancy screening and is not diagnostic. A low risk of Down’s syndrome screening does not completely exclude that the child is a baby with Down’s syndrome. If a child with Down syndrome has been born, the first step should be to accept the reality and face the problem correctly. Parents should take their child for a chromosome test to clarify whether the child’s specific karyotype is pure or chimeric, and give the child regular medical checkups to monitor the child’s growth, intelligence and motor development. The earlier the training, the better the rehabilitation effect. There is no cure for this disease.
