What are the fluids

Fluids are generally divided into ordinary fluids, clear fluids, cold fluids, avoid sweet fluids, and thick fluids (homogenized milk of various consistencies). 1. Ordinary fluids: thicker foods without slag are preferred, such as thin batter, lotus root powder, milk, soymilk, steamed egg custard, and so on. 2. Clear liquid food: use liquid food that does not contain slag and does not produce gas, such as very thin lotus root powder, rice flour, and filtered broth, vegetable broth, thin rice soup, watermelon juice and so on. Milk and soybean milk and too sweet food are forbidden. 3. Cold liquid food: cold milk, cold rice soup, cold lotus root powder and other foods. 4. Avoid sweet fluids: Avoid sucrose, milk, soy milk and other easy-to-produce food, and the rest of the food is the same as the fluid diet. 5. Thick fluids (homogenized milk of various consistencies): Available foods include grains, fruits and vegetables, meat and eggs, etc., which are usually made into fluids by machine. If there is a need to use liquid food, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time, and under the doctor’s guidance, formulate recipes and make liquid food according to the patient’s own condition and the needs of his/her condition.
