With the rapid development of medicine today, the treatment and rehabilitation of stroke patients have become equally important. The modern view of rehabilitation medicine is that a stroke patient can be rehabilitated 48 hours after stabilization of the disease. For a stroke patient, a rehabilitation medical team is set up, including a neurologist, a rehabilitation physician, an exercise therapist (PT), an occupational therapist (OT), a speech therapist (ST), a psychologist, a social worker, and a nurse practitioner. The methods of rehabilitation training include: 1) treatment with basic drugs; 2) rehabilitation assessment and program determination; 3) comprehensive consultation and treatment by PT physicians using techniques such as neuropathy, light therapy, electrotherapy, sound therapy, magnetic therapy, hydrotherapy, wax therapy, acupuncture and massage; 4) training by OT physicians to improve the patient’s brain function; 5) restoration of the patient’s speech function by ST physicians; 6) adjustment of the patient’s psychological state by psychologists so that he or she can best readjust to society. 7.Social workers make regular home visits to help patients set up home furnishings, make modifications, and overcome obstacles to social work; 8.Nursing teachers provide care and guidance for patients’ lifestyles.
