Early symptoms of psoriasis in children

The initial symptoms of psoriasis in children include redness, pimples, itching, and in some cases, upper respiratory tract infections.
The first signs of psoriasis in children usually include red spots and pimples on the skin, which may be accompanied by mild scaling. Some may also be itchy. After the condition worsens, the scales increase and the red spots expand in size and deepen in color.
The most common form of psoriasis in children is psoriasis due to upper respiratory tract infections. At the beginning of the disease, there may be symptoms of upper respiratory tract infections, such as fever, cough, and sore throat, and then red spots as big as rice grains to peas grains may appear all over the body, with silvery-white flakes on the surface.
If a child develops these symptoms and is suspected of having psoriasis, it is recommended that he or she go to the hospital in time for treatment.
