Nasal bone fracture plugged hemostatic rod can generally be removed in 48 to 72h. If the fracture damage is more serious, the time can be extended appropriately. Nasal bone fracture is mostly caused by direct violence, such as fighting, sports, traffic accidents, etc. It is a common trauma in ENT, which can occur alone, and in serious cases, it can be combined with nasal septum fracture, cartilage dislocation and other parts of the trauma, resulting in the corresponding parts of the functional damage and structural abnormalities. Nasal bleeding stuffing is the most basic method of hemostasis, and the time of stuffing is different according to the hemostatic effect. 1. If the nasal filling is effective and the anterior nostril no longer bleeds, the hemostat can be removed within 48 hours. 2. If the nasal cavity is filled for more than 48 hours, the nose still bleeds and the anterior nostril bleeds significantly, the hemostatic time should be extended appropriately, but should not exceed 72 hours. 3. If the bleeding point of nasal cavity is more hidden, hemostatic rod filling does not have good hemostatic effect, you can consider surgical treatment.
