When you have a nosebleed, you can stop the bleeding quickly by pinching the nasal wings on both sides, applying cold compresses locally to shrink the blood vessels, and stuffing the nasal cavity. If the above methods still do not work, you need to go to the hospital in time, through the nasal endoscopy when necessary, electrocoagulation hemostasis.
1. Pinch the bilateral nasal compression to stop bleeding: specific operation firstly, use the thumb and forefinger to pinch the cartilage on both sides of the front part of the nose, and press the lower part of the front part of the nasal septum for 10-15min, during which you can’t let go, in order to stop the bleeding by compression. 2. Nasal filling to stop bleeding: patients can use sterile cotton balls to fill in the nostril on the bleeding side to stop bleeding.
3. If the nasal bleeding is not relieved by the above methods, the patient should consult a doctor immediately to avoid delaying the condition. Nasal endoscopy can be used to find the bleeding point, and electrocoagulation can be given to stop bleeding. At the same time, it is necessary to investigate whether there are abnormalities in blood counts and coagulation function, and whether there are hypertensive disorders.
