What are the symptoms of a pathological fracture?

Symptoms of a pathological fracture have the characteristics of a normal fracture, such as severe pain at the fracture site, local soft tissue swelling, and bruising and petechiae on the skin.
The limb will be deformed and restricted to a passive position due to the fracture, among other signs and symptoms. If the primary cause is a malignant tumour, pain may be present before the fracture occurs, often even at night.
Symptoms of pathological fractures are accompanied by the general features of the fracture, but also by the respective corresponding symptoms of the primary disease, such as blue sclera, dwarfism and deafness in brittle bone disease.
