Nucleic acid tests do not share a single swab. The collection swabs for nucleic acid testing are individually wrapped and each person breaks the swab after taking the sample and puts it in the sampling tube. Therefore, multiple use of a single swab does not happen. The testing organization has strict rules that one person, one swab, cannot be shared. The medical staff in charge of the collection has also received professional training and operates according to the prescribed standards, so there is no need to worry too much. When doing nucleic acid sampling, tilt your head back, relax and open your mouth wide, while holding your breath, and do not recommend making “ah” sounds to minimize the risk of infection. It is recommended that you do not touch the sampling table, and do not place personal items such as cell phones on the table. Wear a mask quickly after the nucleic acid procedure and leave the sampling site as soon as possible.
