Normal diet can be resumed in about 1~2 weeks after the removal of colonoscopic polyps, and the time of resuming normal diet is related to the depth of trauma and the size of polyps. 1. Depth of trauma: If the depth of trauma is deeper after the removal of enteroscopic polyps, the recovery time will be extended and it may take about two weeks to resume normal diet; if the trauma is shallow, it usually takes about 5~7 days to resume normal diet. 2. The size of the polyp: if the polyp is small, it usually takes about a week to have a normal diet, if the polyp is more and larger, it may take two weeks to be able to resume a normal diet. After polyp removal, you should eat more light food, such as millet porridge, pork porridge, etc., and prohibit spicy and stimulating food, such as spicy hot pot and barbecue.
