Can hair grow back after hair loss?

The news of a small hedgehog in a British zoo that lost a large area of body spines due to stress has aroused everyone’s concern these days, and made everyone think of the hair loss problem that we often encounter in our lives. Generally speaking, as long as the hair follicles on the scalp are not completely destroyed, the hair can still grow out. In the case of baldness caused by stress, the hair follicles are not completely destroyed and the hair can still grow out. In the case of total baldness where all the hair on the head has fallen out, the hair follicles are not completely destroyed, and with scientific treatment, the hair can still grow out. Single-piece or multi-piece baldness can be easily treated clinically, and Chinese medicine such as Angelica Sinensis and He Shou Wu, which nourish the liver and kidney, have very good clinical effects, nourishing the patient’s hair as well as the patient’s body and face, and can be used to kill multiple birds with one stone. Total baldness is much more difficult to treat than general baldness and requires a longer treatment time, but there are still many clinical cases that have recovered to normal. Clinically common hair loss secondary to malnutrition can grow back, as can common seborrheic alopecia, and androgenetic alopecia. However, if the scalp is scarred due to certain diseases, the hair follicles will disappear permanently and the hair will no longer grow, such as scarring alopecia due to severe burns, scarring alopecia due to infections such as fungal infections, scarring alopecia due to discoid lupus erythematosus of the scalp, and scarring alopecia due to complete destruction of the hair follicles, the hair cannot grow back.
