There are 16 groups of lymph nodes around the normal stomach. Having lymph nodes in the stomach means having enlarged lymph nodes in the stomach, which may refer to metastasis of stomach cancer or other reasons such as infection. Stomach cancer is usually a malignant tumor that occurs in the epithelial cells of the stomach due to various factors such as Helicobacter pylori bacteria, infections, bad dietary habits, stimulation by smoking and alcohol. When stomach cancer patients are not treated timely, it may cause cancer cells to invade local tissues or metastasize through lymph, and lymph nodes near the stomach will be enlarged. Lymph nodes in stomach may also be caused by gastric mucous membrane hyperplasia, tuberculous lymph node enlargement, gastric ulcer, gastritis and other diseases. If the lymph nodes are enlarged and accompanied by pain and other uncomfortable symptoms, you should go to the hospital for examination in time to avoid delaying the condition, which may lead to adverse consequences. Lymph nodes in the stomach may not necessarily mean stomach cancer, it is recommended to go to the hospital for further examination in time and make judgment under the guidance of doctor.
